About

Amy Burk Pottery was founded  in 2012.  Amy has a Bachelor's of Arts degree from Penn State University and has studied at Anne Arundle Community College and St. John's College, both in Annapolis, MD.

Initially starting out as a studio potter creating work for herself Amy saw a need and desire for handmade ceramic wares that complemented businesses return to locally sourced and handmade items.

"I believe in the details of good form serving your everyday functions.  Attention to feet, rims, handles, and surface is what sets each of us potters apart."- Amy

Everything is unique and varys slightly because of the process being by hand.  All of my work is microwave safe and dishwasher safe.
